How long does shipping take?
Free curbside freight to the lower 48 typically takes 2-4 weeks from order to delivery. The freight carrier calls to schedule a 4-hour delivery window 24-48 hours in advance.
Do I need a special electrical setup?
Most infrared and small traditional saunas plug into a standard 120V outlet on a dedicated 15A or 20A circuit. Larger traditional saunas (4+ person) typically need 240V hardwired by a licensed electrician. Exact requirements are listed in the Specifications above.
How hard is assembly?
Most of our saunas use a tongue-and-groove or magnetic interlocking system designed for two people to assemble in 3-6 hours with basic hand tools. Detailed instructions and a video are included with every sauna.
Can I use this outdoors?
Some saunas are rated indoor-only and some are weather-rated for outdoor placement. Check the Specifications section above. Outdoor saunas should sit on a level concrete pad, gravel base, or sturdy wood deck.
What's the warranty?
Every sauna includes the full manufacturer's residential warranty, typically 5-7 years on the cabin and 1-5 years on heaters and electronics. PureHeat helps coordinate every claim with the factory directly. Full warranty details.
Can I return it if I don't like it?
Yes, 30 days from delivery on unassembled saunas. Returns are subject to return freight cost and a 20% restocking fee (standard for freight goods). Damage-on-arrival items are replaced free. Full return policy.
Is HSA or FSA eligible?
Saunas can qualify when prescribed by a doctor for conditions like arthritis, chronic pain, or cardiovascular health. We're integrating Truemed to verify at checkout, eligible buyers receive a Letter of Medical Necessity. Learn more.

Yes. We source from manufacturers we've personally vetted for build quality, materials, and support track record. We don't list gray-market or refurbished stock. Our dealer applications are in review with Almost Heaven, Dundalk, GDI, Bathing Brands, and Finnleo; until each approval finalizes, we coordinate through verified factory channels.
What if it arrives damaged?
Inspect the freight before the driver leaves. Note any visible damage on the bill of lading and take photos. Email info@pureheatsaunas.store within 48 hours and we'll work with the factory to replace damaged parts at no cost. Don't sign 'clear' if the box looks beat up.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. At checkout you can split into 4 interest-free payments with Shop Pay Installments, or finance over 12+ months with a soft credit check. No hard pull, no fee.
How much electricity will it use?
Infrared saunas use about 1.5-2.5 kWh per session (a 45-minute sauna at average US rates costs roughly $0.20-$0.40). Traditional saunas use more, around 3-6 kWh per session ($0.40-$0.90). Exact draw is in the Specifications tab.
Do I need a permit?
Most plug-and-play indoor saunas don't require a permit. Hardwired 240V installations and outdoor saunas may require electrical or building permits depending on your municipality, check with your local code office before installing.
How long does a sauna last?
With routine care, a quality sauna lasts 15-25 years. Heater elements are the most common service item, replaceable for $200-$600 when they eventually need it. Wood stays beautiful with occasional sanding or oil.
What's the difference between infrared and traditional?
Traditional saunas heat the air (150-195°F) using a stove and rocks, producing löyly steam when water is poured. Infrared saunas heat your body directly (110-140°F) using radiant panels. Read our full guide: Infrared vs Traditional.
