Ordering
Is PureHeat an authorized dealer?
Yes. PureHeat is an authorized independent dealer of Golden Designs Inc. Every unit is genuine, sourced directly from the factory, and covered by the full Golden Designs manufacturer warranty.
What brands do you carry?
The Golden Designs family: Maxxus, Dynamic, Golden Designs infrared and traditional saunas, PureTech hybrids, and Cold Therapy plunges. That is our full lineup, sourced direct from the factory.
How do I know a sauna will fit my space?
Use our Will It Fit tool. Enter your available width, depth, and height, and it confirms which saunas fit before you buy.
Can I get a better price?
Our pricing is competitive every day. If you find the same sauna for less from another authorized dealer, we will match it. See our price match page.
Delivery
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is free. Every order ships with free curbside freight delivery to your driveway in the contiguous United States.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders arrive within 10 to 20 business days. Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada are quoted separately.
What does curbside freight mean?
Your sauna is delivered by freight carrier to the end of your driveway. The carrier calls to schedule a delivery window. Plan to have a second person to help move the crates to their final location.
Can the driver bring it inside or help unload it?
No. Every sauna ships free curbside only. The driver brings it to your curb or the end of your driveway and unloads it there; getting it the rest of the way to its final spot is on you. The driver will not carry it indoors, up steps, or unload it with a powered lift, so plan for one or two helpers, or a local mover for about $100 to $200, on delivery day.
What if my sauna arrives damaged?
Inspect the crate before you sign, note any damage on the delivery receipt, and contact us. We replace shipping-damaged units at no cost. See our returns page.
Financing, HSA, and FSA
Do you offer financing?
Yes, through Affirm. Split your purchase into monthly payments and see your rate at checkout. Checking your rate does not affect your credit score.
What are Affirm's terms?
Rates run from 0 to 36 percent APR based on Affirm's eligibility check, with fixed monthly payments and no late or hidden fees. Some buyers qualify for 0 percent. See your exact rate at checkout, or read our financing page.
Can I use HSA or FSA funds?
Many saunas qualify with a letter of medical necessity through our partner TrueMed. Eligibility is determined by TrueMed and your plan. See our HSA and FSA page.
How does the HSA or FSA process work?
Choose TrueMed at checkout. TrueMed reviews your information and, if appropriate, issues a letter of medical necessity so you can use pre-tax funds. Keep the paperwork for your records and check with your own tax advisor.
Warranty and support
Is my sauna under warranty?
Yes. As an authorized dealer, every sauna is covered by the full manufacturer warranty.
What does the warranty cover?
Coverage is by component: 5 years on the heating elements and electronics, and 1 year on the wood structure and radio. Traditional and hybrid models carry a separate 1-year warranty on the stove. As an authorized dealer, every unit is genuine and covered by its full Golden Designs factory warranty. Register your sauna within 60 days of delivery to activate it. Full details are on our warranty page.
How do I activate my warranty?
Register your sauna with Golden Designs within 60 days of delivery to activate the manufacturer warranty. Complete the quick product registration form using the serial number found on the sauna's front or rear panel or on the carton, along with your proof of purchase. Keep your receipt for any future claim.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Contact us, not the manufacturer. We open the claim, ship the replacement part, and coordinate any service. Email or call with your order number and photos of the issue.
How do I reach a real person?
The owner answers the phone. Reach out Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, or Saturday, 8am to 8pm, and you will speak with someone who knows the products.
Installation
Is the sauna hard to assemble?
Most saunas arrive as assembly-ready kits designed to go together in a few steps, typically with two people. Assembly details are included with your unit.
What are the electrical requirements?
Requirements vary by model. Many plug-and-play infrared saunas use a standard household outlet, while larger or traditional heater units may require a dedicated 240V circuit. Check the electrical specification on each product page.
Do I need an electrician?
For plug-and-play infrared models, no; they use a standard household outlet. Larger or traditional heater units usually need a dedicated 240V circuit installed by an electrician.
Can I put a sauna outside?
Yes. Outdoor-rated cabin and traditional models are built to live outside. They need a level, load-bearing pad and clearance from the house per the manual.
Materials and safety
What are the saunas made of?
Grade A Canadian Hemlock or Canadian Red Cedar, kiln-dried to resist cracking and out-gassing and finished with non-toxic glues and stains. The wood used for each model is listed on its product page.
How low is the EMF?
The infrared heaters are low-EMF carbon panels. Standard models read about 10mG, while ultra-low and near-zero EMF models read as low as 0.3mG measured close to the panel. Each product page lists that model's EMF rating.
Are the saunas safety certified?
Yes. Golden Designs saunas are ETL certified to United States and Canadian safety standards and CE certified for Europe.
What temperature should I use, and how long is a session?
Infrared saunas run best around 115 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. Start with 15-minute sessions and work up to about 30 minutes, with 60 minutes as the maximum. Drink water before, during, and after, and step out if you feel lightheaded.
