The Forssa seats three across a 75" wide bench and runs on a Harvia 8.0 kW stove made in Finland. That pairing puts it a clear step above the two-person cabins in the Golden Designs traditional line, with enough stone mass to hold a true high-heat room and enough width for a family or a couple who like room to stretch out. The cabin is built in Canadian Red Cedar for indoor use, with the stove controls built right into the heater.
Why a Harvia-powered traditional room
A traditional sauna superheats the air, then you ladle water over the hot stones for that rolling wave of loyly steam. The Forssa's Harvia 8.0 kW stove drives the cabin into an ideal 170 to 185 degrees F range, up to 190 degrees F max, which is the authentic Finnish window rather than the gentler warmth of a lower-wattage room. The stones stay loaded and steam-ready, so every session is yours to set dry and hot or humid and enveloping.

Will this sauna fit through my doorway and into my room?
It does not arrive as one finished cabin. It ships flat and assembles on site, so what has to clear your doorways and stairs are the individual panels, not the full assembled cabin. Set up, it stands 75 by 48 by 78 inches (width by depth by height).
Measure your narrowest doorway, hallway turn, and stairwell, then use our Will It Fit tool to place it in your room to the inch. If an entry looks tight, send us the measurements and we will confirm the fit before you order.
What outlet or wiring does it need?
It needs 240V / 40A (stove) plus 120V / 15A (lights and audio). Licensed electrician required.
Because it runs on 240V, have a licensed electrician put in the dedicated circuit before your delivery date. That is standard for a stove heated sauna and is the only trade work involved.
Is assembly difficult, and how long does it take?
2 people, 4 to 6 hours. Tongue-and-groove assembly; electrician required for stove hookup.
The sections arrive pre built and ready to join, so you are connecting finished panels rather than building from raw lumber. No specialist trade is needed beyond any electrical hookup noted above.
Can it go outside?
This model is built for indoor use. Its construction is not rated for open weather exposure, so plan for a garage, basement, spare room, or a fully covered porch rather than an open yard.

How is it delivered, and how long does it take?
It ships free by curbside freight. Free curbside freight delivery to your driveway. Typical lead time 10 to 20 business days. AK, HI, and Canada quoted separately.
Your carrier calls ahead to schedule a drop off window and leaves it at the end of your driveway, so plan to have a hand available to move it inside.
Are you an authorized dealer, and what warranty comes with it?
Yes. PureHeat is an authorized Golden Designs dealer, so this is a genuine unit that carries its full Golden Designs factory warranty (5 years on electronics and heating, 1 year on the traditional stove), honored directly by the manufacturer. Register it within 60 days of delivery at the manufacturer registration form to activate coverage.
That matters on a purchase this size. Units from unauthorized gray market sellers often arrive with the factory warranty voided, which can leave you without support if a part ever fails.
