The Zurich is a barrel, and that shape is the point. This 3 to 4 person indoor traditional sauna is built from Pacific Premium Cedar into a rounded barrel form, so heated air rolls up and around the curve and settles evenly instead of pooling in cold corners. A Harvia 6kW stove holds real stones at a true 170 to 185F, and every ladle of water over those stones releases a rush of loyly steam that infrared simply cannot produce.
Why the barrel earns its keep
Traditional heat lives or dies on how the cabin moves air. The Zurich barrel wraps the bench and the stove in one continuous curve, so the 6kW Harvia (with an optional 8kW upgrade) can hold that high, steam ready range without fighting flat ceilings and square edges. You control the intensity yourself: keep it dry for a clean high heat sit, or pour water over the stones for a thick, enveloping loyly. Bronze privacy tempered glass closes it in, and interior accent lighting plus a backrest turn a session into somewhere you actually want to linger.

Will this sauna fit through my doorway and into my room?
It does not arrive as one finished cabin. It ships flat and assembles on site, so what has to clear your doorways and stairs are the individual panels, not the full assembled cabin. Set up, it stands 75 by 73 by 80 inches (width by depth by height).
Measure your narrowest doorway, hallway turn, and stairwell, then use our Will It Fit tool to place it in your room to the inch. If an entry looks tight, send us the measurements and we will confirm the fit before you order.
What outlet or wiring does it need?
It needs 240V / 30A dedicated circuit (6kW) or 240V / 40A (8kW); 120V / 15A for lights.
Because it runs on 240V, have a licensed electrician put in the dedicated circuit before your delivery date. That is standard for a stove heated sauna and is the only trade work involved.
Is assembly difficult, and how long does it take?

The sections arrive pre built and ready to join, so you are connecting finished panels rather than building from raw lumber. No specialist trade is needed beyond any electrical hookup noted above.
Can it go outside?
This model is built for indoor use. Its construction is not rated for open weather exposure, so plan for a garage, basement, spare room, or a fully covered porch rather than an open yard.

How is it delivered, and how long does it take?
It ships free by curbside freight. Free curbside freight delivery to your driveway. Typical lead time 10 to 20 business days. AK, HI, and Canada quoted separately.
Your carrier calls ahead to schedule a drop off window and leaves it at the end of your driveway, so plan to have a hand available to move it inside.
Are you an authorized dealer, and what warranty comes with it?
Yes. PureHeat is an authorized Golden Designs dealer, so this is a genuine unit that carries its full Golden Designs factory warranty (5 years on electronics and heating, 1 year on the traditional stove), honored directly by the manufacturer. Register it within 60 days of delivery at the manufacturer registration form to activate coverage.
That matters on a purchase this size. Units from unauthorized gray market sellers often arrive with the factory warranty voided, which can leave you without support if a part ever fails.
