Rated for residential use Built for a home's usage, not the duty cycle of a gym or spa. Residential vs commercial?

At 64 inches wide with a 58-inch interior bench span, the Maxxus K306 is the roomy end of the far-infrared lineup, drawn up for a household that wants three people to sit shoulder to shoulder without anyone pinned to a wall. It runs on a standard dedicated 120V outlet, ships as clasp-together panels, and is warm and ready the same day two of you finish the roughly two to three hour build. Choose it in Canadian Hemlock or Western Red Cedar to match the room it lives in.

Why far-infrared, and why it suits this cabin

Far-infrared warms your body directly at a comfortable 118 to 132F, up to 140F max, rather than superheating the air the way a roughly 180F steam room does, so a full session stays easy and sweat-through-able even in a cabin this size. The K306 spreads that warmth across seven carbon panels (approximately 2360W) plus a floor reflexology heater, so the extra width heats evenly bench to bench instead of leaving cold corners. Panels are rated Low EMF, a sensible tier for a cabin the whole family shares.

What a daily session looks like

  • The shared unwind: Two or three of you settle in after dinner and let the warmth take the edge off the day together
  • Post-workout reset: Stretch out across the wide bench and give sore muscles a slow 20 to 30 minute warm-down
  • The solo Sunday: Claim the whole cabin to yourself, feet on the floor heater, for an unhurried heat-bathing ritual

Built for real life

  • Best for: A household of two or three who want genuine elbow room in an indoor far-infrared cabin

Where it sits in the line: If you want the same three-person capacity stepped up to a Near-Zero EMF tier and a slightly tighter footprint, look at the Maxxus S306.

Good to know

Common questions about this sauna

Will this sauna fit through my doorway and into my room?

It does not arrive as one finished cabin. It ships flat and assembles on site, so what has to clear your doorways and stairs are the individual panels, not the full assembled cabin. Set up, it stands 61.3 by 48.9 by 68.9 inches (width by depth by height).

Measure your narrowest doorway, hallway turn, and stairwell, then use our Will It Fit tool to place it in your room to the inch. If an entry looks tight, send us the measurements and we will confirm the fit before you order.

What outlet or wiring does it need?

It runs on Dedicated 120V / 20A non-GFCI circuit required.

It uses standard 120V household current rather than a 240V hookup, so there is no heavy wiring involved. If it calls for a dedicated circuit that your space does not already have, an electrician can add one; otherwise it plugs in and runs.

Is assembly difficult, and how long does it take?

2 people, about 2 to 3 hours. Clasp-together panel assembly, no electrical work required.

The sections arrive pre built and ready to join, so you are connecting finished panels rather than building from raw lumber. No specialist trade is needed beyond any electrical hookup noted above.

Is this a low EMF sauna?

Yes. Maxxus Saunas rates this cabin as Low EMF.

EMF is the low frequency field that surrounds any electric heater. This model uses carbon panels that spread warmth across a wide surface instead of concentrating it, which is how it holds a Low EMF rating.

Can it go outside?

This model is built for indoor use. Its construction is not rated for open weather exposure, so plan for a garage, basement, spare room, or a fully covered porch rather than an open yard.

If you want a sauna for an uncovered outdoor spot, ask us about our outdoor rated cabins.

How is it delivered, and how long does it take?

It ships free by curbside freight. Free curbside freight delivery to your driveway. Typical lead time 10 to 20 business days. AK, HI, and Canada quoted separately.

Your carrier calls ahead to schedule a drop off window and leaves it at the end of your driveway, so plan to have a hand available to move it inside.

Are you an authorized dealer, and what warranty comes with it?

Yes. PureHeat is an authorized Maxxus Saunas dealer, so this is a genuine unit that carries its full Maxxus Saunas factory warranty (5 years on heating elements and electronics, 1 year on the wood structure and radio), honored directly by the manufacturer. Register it within 60 days of delivery at the manufacturer registration form to activate coverage.

That matters on a purchase this size. Units from unauthorized gray market sellers often arrive with the factory warranty voided, which can leave you without support if a part ever fails.
