The Loviisa is the four-person outdoor traditional sauna in Golden Designs' line, built in natural Canadian Red Cedar with a 75" wide by 73" deep footprint that gives a small group room to sit and sweat together outside. A Harvia electric heater loaded with sauna stones brings the cabin to a true high-heat range, and a glass front and door keep the modular cabin feeling open under the sky.
Why traditional steam heat feels different outdoors
The Harvia heater warms the sauna stones and the cedar air to a genuine high-heat range, up to 194F. Ladle water from the included bucket over the hot stones and you raise loyly, the soft enveloping steam at the heart of the Finnish ritual. It runs hotter and more intense than infrared, and setting it outside means you step from the crisp air straight into deep, steady warmth. The heater hardwires to a 240V dedicated circuit, so plan for a licensed electrician to run the line.

Will this sauna fit through my doorway and into my room?
It does not arrive as one finished cabin. It ships flat and assembles on site, so what has to clear your doorways and stairs are the individual panels, not the full assembled cabin. Set up, it stands 75 by 73 by 80 inches (width by depth by height).
Measure your narrowest doorway, hallway turn, and stairwell, then use our Will It Fit tool to place it in your room to the inch. If an entry looks tight, send us the measurements and we will confirm the fit before you order.
What outlet or wiring does it need?
It needs 240V dedicated circuit (heater hardwire).
Because it runs on 240V, have a licensed electrician put in the dedicated circuit before your delivery date. That is standard for a stove heated sauna and is the only trade work involved.
Is assembly difficult, and how long does it take?

Can it be installed outdoors?
Yes. This is an outdoor rated cabin, built from Natural Canadian Red Cedar to stand up to the weather.
Set it on a solid, level base such as a concrete pad or deck, and complete the electrical hookup noted above. A covered spot is not required, but it does extend the life of the wood.
How is it delivered, and how long does it take?
It ships free by curbside freight. Free curbside freight delivery to your driveway. Typical lead time 10 to 20 business days. AK, HI, and Canada quoted separately.
Your carrier calls ahead to schedule a drop off window and leaves it at the end of your driveway, so plan to have a hand available to move it inside.
Are you an authorized dealer, and what warranty comes with it?
Yes. PureHeat is an authorized Golden Designs dealer, so this is a genuine unit that carries its full Golden Designs factory warranty (5 years on electronics and heating, 1 year on the traditional stove), honored directly by the manufacturer. Register it within 60 days of delivery at the manufacturer registration form to activate coverage.
